Prakash Padaruth has a wealth of experience spanning over 35+ years in the Oil and Gas industry, business advisory and IT, having worked in various companies such as SARA, Caltex, Chevron, Dallas International Trading and EON Reality. He has served as Advisor to the Regional Operating Committee for Chevron for Africa, Middle East and Pakistan Region and as Advisor to VP. Assisted the VP in his daily activities, representing him in meetings and coordinated the regional issues on his behalf, coordinated all regional board meetings in South Africa and ensured that all regional operating companies were compliant in terms of governance, successfully coordinated and member of regional OE, BEE, Credit Committee and other boards, successfully managed across very diverse markets with ability to build mutually beneficial and credible relationships. He has negotiated and actively participated for the implementation of Petredec’s 15000MT LPG storage in Mauritius: participated in all government discussions for securing government approval; secure land in port area; assist to obtain relevant regulatory permits, Act as business development consultant for oil companies looking to acquire Operations or to enter selected products market based on strategic decision in African countries. Leverage on established network and participate in the preparation of business plans and other documentation, assisted various oil companies for oil supply contracts in various countries, assisted foreign companies to implement in Mauritius and act as their official representative, review and assist in preparing marketing and business development packages for international companies as an advisory role with Dallas International Trading US.
